L.K. BENNETT | Another British Invasion in Chicago!

Attention anglophiles! Look what stopped me dead in my tracks when I passed by The Shops at 900 on North Michigan Avenue today...

Amazing, huh?! and no, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, I swear. I had to do a double take triple take just to be sure I wasn't hallucinating. It looks like Topshop won't be the only new British neighbor moving in later this spring on Chicago's Magnificent Mile--as Racked Chicago confirmed, Linda K. Bennett and her team have chosen Chicago as the city to open its very first retail store in the U.S.

For those of you not familiar with the brand, L.K. Bennett is well-known across the pond for its tailored and modern women's clothing, shoes and accessories. The fashion label was originally founded in 1990 by designer Linda K. Bennett, the so-called queen of the kitten heel, whose signature shoe has become a favorite among British celebs and even royalty, including Princess-to-be Kate Middleton.
